Tay Thye Sun

Tay Thye Sun holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology from the University of London and a Masters degree from the Imperial College of Science and Technology. Mr. Tay is an experienced gem dealer who has specialized in providing gem laboratory services and the advancement of gemmological research. He has co-authored and shared his gemstone research through his publications and also as a speaker in Tokyo, Beijing, Taipei, Bangkok, Idar-Oberstein, Melbourne, Madrid, Yangoon, Hong Kong etc. His gem testing laboratory has ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation since 1998. He is a member of the International Gemmological Conference (Executive Committee member), former founding member and president of the Singapore Gemologist Society.
