Dr. Giuliani obtained his PhD in Geology, Speciality Metallogeny, in 1982 at the University of Nancy - Institut National Polytechnique de Lorraine, France.
In 1985, he entered the IRD - Institut de Recherche pour le Développement, France - as a senior Researcher in Geology.
Dr. Giuliani obtained the enabling of the Direction of Research in Geology and Geochemistry in 1997, at the University of Nancy - Institut National Polytechnique de Lorraine, and the CRPG/CNRS - Centre de Recherches Pétrographiques et Géochimiques, France, and was awarded the title of Director of Research in 2000 at the IRD - Institut de Recherche pour le Développement, France.
He participated in numerous projects of research in geology and metallogeny devoted to Natural Resources (gold, tin, tungsten, molybdenum, emerald, ruby, sapphire) in collaboration with Brazil, China, Chile, Colombia, Madagascar, Morocco, Nepal, Pakistan, Vietnam.
